Week 6 Reading Diary B, Buck's Ramayana

• Hanuman comes back to Rama and tells him what happened.
• Rama must cross the ocean to reach Lanka.
• He rallies his monkey troops and has Nala make a bridge out of floating rocks.
• They then all pass over the bridge to Lanka.
• Vibhishana flees from Lanka after angering Ravana and joins Rama.
• He agrees to help Rama get Sita back but won't engage his people in battle.
• Sita is tormented by two demons who make an illusion of Rama's decapitated head. 
• Trijata feels sorry for Sita and decides to spy for her.
• Indrajit attacks Rama's force and kills many of his best fighters.
• Sita is shown a false battlefield where Rama and his men are killed. 
• She smells the medicine that Hanuman is using to heal Rama and his men and knows they are ok.
• Indrajit is killed by Lakshmana which spurs Ravana into battle.
